University College Opera (UCOpera), is the student opera company of University College London.
Historically, UCOpera has been staged by professional singers, directors and designers, with the orchestra and chorus drawn from the student body, however, a recent shift has allowed more students to get involved, both on and offstage. Founded in 1951, UCOpera is known for its productions of lesser performed operas, including world, European and British premières.
