In March 2020, University College Opera returns with L'anima del filosofo ossia Orfeo ed Euridice. We are thrilled to stage Haydn’s last opera, written in London and never fully performed during the composer’s lifetime. The piece retells the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, a story of love, death and the power of music.
Sung in Italian with English surtitles.
